a) Using S3 Java API from EC2 (Java) and understanding IAM role/policies

b) Accessing MySQL RDS & Elasticache from python code running on EC2

c) Python/Java app with DynamoDB

d) Lambda (JS) with Cloudwatch (introduction)

e) S3 event triggering Lambda (JS) using SES managed service

f) Events from S3 to SNS to SQS (using SQS console)

g) Advanced lambda using Python, 3rd party dependency, Layers, Boto3 API

h) Real time data streaming and processing using Kinesis Stream/Firehose (Java)

i) Execute SQL queries on CSV (Athena)

j) Log aggregation via CloudWatch Agent

2. Architectural discussions on other “Managed services” and

a) Java API for Cloud search service access from EC2

b) Step functions (Python, JS) & BPM with S3 events, CloudWatch, CloudTrail

c) Lambda (in Java) with layer accessing RDS as a VPC resource

3. System Operations include (optional discussion/handson)

a) Cloud CI / CD overview 

b) Code commit, Code build, Code deploy, Code pipeline (using Java source code)
